Oppose SB 140

Indiana legislators are considering a misguided government mandate called SB 140. This bill threatens access to medications and hikes health care costs for Indiana patients and families.

Lawmakers Must Oppose SB 140

SB 140 would give state government the power to restrict and disrupt access to medications for Indiana patients, including many of the most vulnerable who rely on specialty treatments, or at-home delivery, like those fighting cancer or heart disease.

Too many Indiana patients face challenges with the affordability of their prescription drugs. SB 140 would hike health care costs, including by imposing a $10.48 tax on many prescriptions filled in the state. The cost of paying this tax would often fall directly on Indiana patients each time they fill a prescription.

Say NO to SB 140

The Indiana legislature should not pass a government mandate that would restrict access to medications for Indiana patients and hike health care costs. Urge your legislator to vote NO on SB 140.
